For Flat Pack and Boxed products AGF have developed our multi-purpose steel shelving system.
Uprights are rolled and punched straight from the coil with slots in increments of 50mm. Beam sections can be designed to suit the loading requirements of the bays. Standard beams are rolled from the coil ensuring that the most economical solution is offered. At AGF we are confident that our new shelving system will offer a very competitive alternative to other systems currently imported from Continental Europe and the Far East. Manufactured here in the UK AGF can meet the most demanding lead times without the materials being weeks at sea.
As in our garment racking, uprights are welded into end frames at widths to suit the carton/box sizes. End connectors are welded onto the requisite beam section that is cut to length to meet the project requirements. Frames and beams are powder coated in our on site paint plant which can handle up to 6 metre lengths. On site the frames are simply stood two apart and beams are located without the need for tools. A unique beam locking clip is then inserted to lock the beams into position. Beams can be rolled with a stepped edge to accept whatever shelving medium is required. Timber, steel or mesh shelves are dropped into position to complete the structure. Additional bays are simply added to create long or short runs to suit.
